What's my Story?
Well, I am also a dog lover like you, and everything changed when I got Odin as a gift. Earlier my family had dogs but according to them, Dog means someone who is tied to one place and barks all day.
But when I got Odin, I knew I didn’t want this for her, and keeping her breed’s reputation in mind I knew it is important to train her. So I switched to the next best place to learn how to train a dog, which is Youtube.
I was able to train her in a few basic commands and she was doing quite well, Slowly my interest grew in this and I kept learning things from Youtube and applying them to her.
While posting her progress on Instagram I started getting client and I got to know that there are people like me who are facing issues on raising a dog so I agreed on taking the clients and started training dogs from there.
Am I even Qualified for this?
After training dogs for about 2 and half years I was getting better at it but at the same time, I felt the need for upgrading my knowledge.
I saw Varun Bhaiya in youtube videos and he was doing something no one was doing in dog training at that time, and I was his follower for quite some time when I finally found his Instagram ID I reached out to him and fortunately, he accepted me in his internship program which was for 2 months.
I spend 2 months straight under him learning and training, and in that duration, I learned about dog psychology, and how to break training plans into smaller bits and conquer them step by step and get the best possible result.
By the end of the internship, my knowledge about training and dog psychology has significantly improved and I also got certified form him.
A little about Varun Anand of Canine conditioning, He is the Only PSA2 trainer in Asia, and he is the man behind the K9 Unit in the Indian army. He has trained the trainers in Army who handles and trains K9 dogs.
My Goal is to keep learning, evolving, and improving my knowledge which will also improve the lives I touch. I’ll keep doing courses and seminars from the leaders in the industry who have done some amazing work in the industry.
One of that person is Rajendra Chauhan A.k.a Bunty Bhaiya. He is the only person who has titled most PSA dogs in India and has a very deep knowledge in dog psychology and he has more than 20 years of knowledge in the industry.
He was also one of the first people to learn NePoPo in India from back in 2013.
I learned very much from him when I did his course, very to-the-point explanation. We learned about obedience, protection, and also the correct way to use E-collars.
However this is not the end of my learning, I’ll keep learning to improve this art.
My Goal
My goal is to make the lives of dog parents easier by teaching them how dogs think and how they can communicate properly with them and also train dogs in the human language so they can understand us.
I also believe that dogs are not supposed to be just couch potatoes but every breed was bred for a purpose and to lead a happy life they need to reach the full potential of what they were meant to do. For example, a beagle or jack russel was bred for detection purposes so my goal with that breed would be to teach it detection so he might get that mental stimulation from time to time.
